Where the Adventure Began
The real animals, everyday moments, and mountain farm that inspired Farm Day Adventures.
The Truth Is, It Started With Chores.
While caring for animals on a mountain farm, Megan and the children she cared for found a creative way to make their daily chores a little more fun. As they worked, they began making up silly rhymes about the animals around them—their personalities, their antics, and the adventures that seemed to unfold every day.

What started as a simple way to pass the time soon became something much bigger.

At the end of each day, Megan would write down the rhymes they had created, while the kids brought their ideas to life with drawings of their own. Little by little, those shared moments of storytelling and imagination began to take shape as the Farm Day Adventures children's book series.

Inspired by Real Barnyard Friends
The characters and stories of Farm Day Adventures grew from real life on the farm. The animals' unique personalities, the challenges that came with caring for them, and the unexpected adventures they shared all found their way into Megan's stories.

Behind the playful rhymes and barnyard mischief are lessons Megan hopes young readers can carry with them: the importance of teamwork, problem-solving, kindness, courage, and being there for one another.

Finding Magic in the Everyday
For Megan, Farm Day Adventures is about more than life on a farm. It's a reminder that some of the best stories can begin in the most ordinary moments.

A daily chore can become an adventure. A silly rhyme can spark an idea. An animal can become an unforgettable character. And when children are given the freedom to imagine, create, and contribute their own ideas, something wonderfully unexpected can grow.

What began with chores on a mountain farm has grown into stories, interactive programs, and creative experiences for children and families—but the heart behind it remains the same.

Farm Day Adventures is a celebration of family, community, imagination, friendship, and love—and all the little adventures we discover along the way.
