Storytime & Books
What makes your programs different?
Every program combines storytelling, creative arts, movement, and child-led exploration to create meaningful, memorable learning experiences.
What age groups are your storytimes designed for?
Most storytimes are geared toward children ages 2–6, but activities can be adjusted to fit a variety of ages.
Can you customize a storytime for our event?
Yes! Megan is happy to tailor storytimes for different age groups, classroom themes, libraries, festivals, and community events.
Do children need to have read your books first?
Not at all! The activities are designed so every child can jump right in.
Do you provide supplies for crafts?
Yes! Unless otherwise discussed, Megan brings the materials needed for the scheduled activity.
Do you travel?
Yes! Travel may be available depending on your location. Additional travel fees may apply for events outside Megan's local service area.
Do you visit schools and libraries?
Yes! Megan loves partnering with schools, libraries, museums, bookstores, day camps, and community organizations.
Can multiple classes attend one visit?
Absolutely! Megan can work with you to determine the best format based on group size and age.
What ages are the Farm Day Adventures books recommended for?
The books are designed for young readers and families to enjoy together. They are especially popular with children ages 2–8, but many older siblings enjoy them as well.
Where can I buy your books?
Books can be purchased directly through Amazon by clicking "Shop" in the website navigation menu, at select events, and during many of Megan's storytime visits.
Can I purchase signed copies of your books?
Yes! Signed and personalized copies are available in-person at select events or contact Megan directly.
Creative Child Care
What should I have ready before Miss Megan arrives?
After your booking is confirmed, review Miss Megan's Checklist, which includes helpful reminders about meals, comfort items, emergency contacts, medications, and preparing your space so everyone is ready for a fun and successful visit.
What hours are you available?
Most sessions are scheduled during daytime and evening hours. Appointments extending beyond 11:00 PM may be considered on a case-by-case basis depending on availability.
Do you offer overnight childcare?
At this time, overnight childcare services are not available.
Do you provide bath time services?
For the safety and comfort of everyone, Miss Megan does not provide bath time services. Instead, she focuses on engaging children with creative play, storytelling, crafts, outdoor exploration, and other enriching activities throughout your session.
Will you take my child on outings or off the property?
Miss Megan's activities take place on your property or at the agreed-upon location. She does not transport children or take them off-site, allowing families to feel confident that children remain in a familiar and safe environment.
Do you help with cleaning?
Miss Megan happily cleans up any crafts, meals, or activities enjoyed together during her visit. General housekeeping or cleaning that is unrelated to the session is not included in her childcare services.
Do you work with children who have disabilities or additional support needs?
Miss Megan strives to create an inclusive, welcoming environment where every child feels valued and supported. Before booking, she encourages families to share any accommodations, medical needs, or support requirements so she can determine whether her services are the right fit. If a child's needs require specialized care beyond her training or experience, she'll be happy to discuss this honestly and help families determine the best next steps.
General Questions
Is my booking confirmed after I submit the form?
No. Megan will contact you to confirm availability and finalize the details before your booking is officially scheduled.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Miss Megan accepts Zelle and PayPal.
